What Full Licence Options Are There?

There are three different courses avaiblable depending on your age and the size of motorcycle you wish to ride after your practical test.

Full licence courses are available every weekend. 1-to-1 tuition is available with students limited to a maximum of 2 on any day. Bike hire and fuel are included in the course fee, as well as Module 1 and Module 2 test fees.

'A' Licence

The 'A' licence motorcycle rider training course is for people who are 24 years and older, or have held an A2 licence for a minimum of 2 years. It will typically consist of a 4 day course conducted over non-consecutive days, working towards you passing your motorcycle test at the end. Each day lasts approximately 6 hours, during which time we cover roughly 100 miles, giving you over 400 miles in the saddle.

The 4 day Direct Access Scheme (DAS) 'A' licence course costs £850.

'A' Training Schedule

• Day 1: Familiarisation riding a larger machine, counting towards your Module 2 training.
• Day 2: Training on a designated DVSA test site for Module 1 + Module 2 training. (Must be conducted on a Saturday or Sunday)
• Day 3: Module 1 test day + Module 2 training. (Must be conducted on a week day)
• Day 4: Module 2 test day. Includes familiarisation of your test area. (Must be conducted on a week day)

'A1' Licence

The 'A1' licence motorcycle rider training course (commonly thought of as the 'light motorcycle licence') allows the rider to use motorcyles up to 125cc without 'L' plates.

This licence is for people are are ages 17 or older and are not interested in more powerful motorcycles. The course consists of between 2 and 4 days, depending on ability and training needs - this will enable you to pass your motorcyle test at the end.

The training schedule, content and requirements are the same as the 'A' licence, but using only a 125cc motorbike. We are unable to offer automatic 125cc motocycles, these will need to be owned by the student.

The 'A1' licence course starts from £500.

'A2' Licence

The 'A2' licence motorbike rider training course is for people who are 19 years and older. This may appeal to students who wish to ride a bigger or heavier motorbike, but do not want to go for a full size motorbike. It consists of a 4 day course, working towards you passing your motorcycle test at the end.

The training schedule, content and requirements are the same as the 'A' Licence but using a motorcycle restricted to 47bhp.

The 4 day Direct Access Scheme (DAS) 'A2' licence course costs £850.

What to Wear

• Jeans for leg protection,
• Boots that cover the ankles for foot protection,
• We provice the rest: helmets, jackets, gloves, motorbike (or bring your own!)

Delivery

Our Direct Access Scheme (DAS) service commences when we commit to procurement of services, where necessary to support your training, which may be in advance of the agreed training date.

Customer Cancellation & Refund Policy

The cancellation period is 14 days from the day after we receive your initial payment.

If the Service starts within the 14 days you will usually be asked to give your agreement in writing. If you subsequently cancel within the cancellation period you will be required to pay us the reasonable costs of the Service that we have delivered up to the time of your cancellation.

If the Service is scheduled to start after the cancellation period and you cancel during the cancellation period a full refund will be given.
